Northpoint Fire & Security – Delivering One of the North’s Largest Life Safety & Security Projects (2025)
Project Overview
In 2025, Northpoint Fire & Security successfully designed, installed, and commissioned one of the most significant fire and life safety projects in the North of England in 50 years.
This landmark project involved state-of-the-art fire alarm, voice alarm, disabled refuge, and toilet alarm systems, delivered on behalf of Bowmer & Kirkland via Derry Building Services.
The project forms part of the Pilgrim’s Quarter development in Newcastle, a £155m regeneration project in the North East. The development represents a major transformation of one of Newcastle’s most prominent streets, creating a modern, multi-storey office campus for thousands of civil servants while preserving the historic façade of Carliol House.
